do you want new challenges in exciting new places?

Aer Lingus Divers club, is nearly 40 years old we are affiliated to the Irish Underwater Council and CMAS, which are the Irish and international sports diving bodies. Our club has about 20 members. Club dive and snorkel locally in Howth, Skerries and nearby islands. We offer snorkel and diving courses to members. We train in ALSAA pool on Thursday nights at 8.00pm. The snorkel and diving courses include practical and theory work on skills, techniques, safety and environment. Techniques are practiced in the pool and in open sea. Trainee divers take part in many dives to develop skills and confidence before completing the Club Diver test. Members of Aer Lingus Divers can also complete courses in boat handling, rescue diver, marine identification and underwater photography. We run a basic snorkelling course over the summer. This course is mainly practical work in the pool and sea. Snorkel gear is supplied and attendees are welcome to join the club on local snorkels. We are members of ALSAA. We use the gym facilities and join other ALSAA clubs. Members of Aer Lingus Divers are members of the Irish Underwater Council which includes personal accident insurance, access to courses and the Subsea magazine three times a year.
